Artist Perspective
Dr. Anthony S. Fauci has been the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since I was one year old. He’s tackled malaria, HIV/AIDS, Ebola, Zika, and probably even more. He’s been a (nearly) constant figure at the now daily White House press briefings on United States coronavirus efforts. In a time of frenetic energy, fractured efforts, and scattershot information, Fauci has been a welcome representative for science and logic, and a provider of calm, measured focus.
