Jean-Michel Basquiat has long been my favorite artist. I have gotten lost in his paintings and drawings since the first time that I saw his work. His ability to craft such powerful messages in what many may see as just scribbles. How he took his experiences and let them unfold on canvas, walls, metal, clothes, whatever he could find.
